A wild musing,
an adventure of our choosing,
in the high hills of Crested Butte’s wilderness thrills,
we crossed paths with this foxy creature,
who appeared to us as a great teacher.
So we leaned in close as she began to speak,
to hear her wisdom and embrace what she had to teach—
“Be swift, quick, and cunning at this time,
with obstacles abound, all-around and intertwined.
Trust you can move through them, around,
or over, as you move about and leap from off the ground.
You do not have to confront everything head-on,
for some things are meant to be meandered,
instead of forged ahead and strictly straight-on.”
